We also had some very violent summer storms this afternoon, so I think I'll cast on the Gewitterhimmel asap and maybe appease the Gods enough to stop yanking trees out of our gardens :)
Hey... sorry I didn't respond right away when you commented on my blog. I probably did see you at the Berg... lol... I was there pretty mcuh every night.
I LOVE Wollmeise... though I haven't knit with it yet. It just looks too pretty in the hank. What colors did you get? Obviously Gewitterhimmel. Indisch Rot? Kraeuterbeet? Wellensittichvogelfeder? I think that was what I made out. I'm going to be sad when I head back to the States and it will be harder to get it. I'm definitely going to stock up, haha.
Getting yarn in the mail makes any day better. You are just like a German already. Any excuse for a little Fest - in your case any excuse to cast on new yarn :)
Fantastic sock yarn, such gorgeous colours. That not good about the violent storms, hope they let up very soon, we having problems with floods too over in Northern England! I'm still working on your hearty man's sock pattern, but boyfriend love them so far and is impressed with strong heel and toe, shall definately be a firm favourite when they are finished;-)
*drool*
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like a great excuse, ah, legitimate reason to cast on ;) Gorgeous colors, have fun!
