Flurries were forecasted and received, but they came in very large numbers.

Not to be stuck in the house, Mum and Dave made the best of a snowy situation and packed a picnic of sorts......

Time in the house was well-spent, though. Mum finished Erika's First Communion dress and Rick's new quilt. I'm hoping to get the next quilt, just as soon as I get around to measuring the bed.
Hey, making the best of any situation is what we do best, right? I absolutely love the quilt, especially the simple pattern combined with the great colors. Makes me what to pick up the "other" needles and work on my queen size for a while. Who knows.

ReplyDeleteOh the yarns in Ireland must be heaven. I know all about snow in Canada, although today we lost most of it...lovely quilt.:)
